In a history spanning almost seven centuries, Penshurst Place has been the setting for many a sumptuous events throughout its history. Kings, Queens, noblemen, great soldiers and poets have dined within the walls of the medieval hall, which has been described as ‘one of the grandest rooms in the world’. Today, it is also available for private hire, offering a majestic backdrop for your next event.
The 14th century Manor House and grounds offer an exclusive venue for office and Christmas parties, birthday parties and anniversaries, private dinners, meetings, product launches and outdoor activity days. The rooms for hire within the defended manor house, which dates back to 1341, comprise the awe-inspiring Baron’s Hall, the charming Sunderland Room and the cosy Buttery.
